In 1981, our visionary founder, Ed Williams, stepped into the fairly new world of employee benefits as a franchisee of Hicks Pension Services. Fast forward to today, and we’ve evolved into Crawford Retirement Group, led by Megan Crawford – the daughter of our founder.

At Crawford Retirement Group, we’re not just about retirement plans; we’re about simplifying the complex with our touch of expertise. Megan has taken the reins, bringing over 40 years of family legacy into a rebranded adventure that focuses on integrity, innovation, and reliability.

Our journey is one paved with experience, with several team members boasting over two decades of service with us. And we don’t stop there!  Our new team members undertake a journey to attain their Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) credential through the American Retirement Association, exemplifying our commitment to excellence.

Megan Crawford distinguishes herself not only as a leader but also as an exemplar of professional excellence.  She has attained the esteemed Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) designation through the IRS, positioning her as a formidable asset to have in your corner, particularly during audits. In addition, she boasts the Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) credential from the American Retirement Association, widely recognized as the pinnacle of achievements in our industry.

Meet Megan

Hello there! I’m Megan Crawford, your friendly retirement plan expert.  With a rich 15-year experience in the retirement plan industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to help your retirement plan run smoothly. As a second-generation Third Party Administrator, numbers and strategies are second nature to me. My driving purpose is to help small businesses stay competitive by offering strategic retirement benefits for their employees and to help educate America’s workers on the importance of saving for retirement.

My purpose also extends beyond offices, boardrooms, and zoom meetings. I believe in giving back and helping to make a positive change! You’ll often find me volunteering with the American Society for Pension Professionals and Actuaries. Here, I’ve had the honor of serving on various conference planning committees, presenting at conferences, contributing valuable insights through articles in Plan Consultant Magazine, and visiting our representatives on the Hill to educate our leaders on retirement policy.

Outside of my passion for helping Americans retire, my husband Tyler and I are proud parents to two wonderful children, Ava and Cooper. We’re not just a family; we’re a team of explorers. We love to travel together, cherishing every moment spent experiencing new places as a family.
